Does anyone remember an episode where Father Dowling gives someone on the street a pair of his own gloves?

It's in The Mafia Priest Mystery, I believe Part 1.
He is looking for a specific pair of gloves as evidence. A homeless
person has the gloves and Dowling pays him for the gloves. Then noticing
the man is now gloveless, he gives his own pair away. I just watched this double episode tonight.
