IMDb only lists 44 episodes of this series which ran almost four years. I wasn't a regular viewer but I thought it was on every week and 44 episodes is not even two full seasons of shows.

It was on for 3 seasons only. Season 1 was only 7 episodes, season 2 was 13 episodes and season three was 22 episodes.
