Carl and Harriet's early years as a couple
I know they married early in the seventies but they never specified where they met or how old they were when they met

They never said how they met but in one episode during I believe season 7, Harriette mentioned to Laura that she was dating two men at one time and Carl being one of them, but while kissing Carl good night the guy she was dating came walking up and said he was devastated and she never seen him again.
