Help finding an episode

Okay, long shot here but I'll give it a go and hope somebody remembers the season and episode number. I saw this episode ages ago and the scenario is pretty memorable. The cops go to serve a search warrant on an apartment (inner city; cops are white, suspects are black). Apparently when they are banging on the door the suspect goes out the back window of the apartment and promptly falls 15 feet down a stairwell. The cops all gather around and the camera crew zooms in on the moaning guy at the bottom of these basements steps. I specifically recall it because one cop looks down and says, "Stupid bastard." I thought it was pretty shocking at the time. Anyone remember that one?
