I Ugly Cried

So I recently got the complete series on DVD and I have been binging this morning. It has been so long since I watched this show that watching it now is almost like watching a new show for me.

So far, before noon I have ugly cried at 2 separate episodes. The episode where the bandleader almost has Quincy put down....that scene where Luther is saying good bye.....my eyes are welling up with tears as I type. Then the episode where Luther befriends Billy, and ends up heartbroken when he moves away....Omg I don't know if I have cried so hard at a sitcom before.

Luther is hilarious, and adds so much to the show but also a sad character in a lot of ways. Jerry Van Dykes acting in those scenes were very moving to me.
