Just started re-watching this series

I haven't seen this show since probably 1990-1992. It's funny because it was a huge part of my childhood and I absolutely had to watch it again. I had watched others I was a fan of from the time period like Super Mario Bros. 3, but I felt that show was extremely corny after watching it many years later. Rescue Rangers is the opposite for me.

I think it's held up extremely well after all these years. It really doesn't make too many references to the 80's/pop culture, which helped it to stay relevant storywise. The voices are great and the scripting itself is superb. The animation is top-notch for the time as well. Then again, it did have Disney money behind it, so these things should be expected.

When I was younger, I'd have said that Gadget was my favorite character. Well, that's even more true now. She's the most unique of the bunch, and seems to be the most level-headed and smartest one. I wasn't TOO convinced about her until I watched "The Case of the Cola Cult" which is now my favorite episode so far.

If anyone else was thinking of re-watching this, I would highly suggest it. It's certainly one of those shows that were created to be enjoyable for kids as well as adults.
