Seriously? The guy can't act for toffee. In tonight's episode when he showed Louis the corpse, he was so wooden and he couldn't drive himself into it at all. God knows how he's managed to stay on that show for 30 years.. probably because no other programme would have him.

Charlie is the same character as Jeff in The Long good Friday.
Derek Thomson always seems to be the same.
However, it does give Charlie that unique personality!

He's not consistant. He's normally crap, but on the extended episode the other say I thought he was ok.
