Episode 'Nevermore'

I'm watching this episode of Baywatch and it's driving me crazy! This unattractive guy (covered in bandages, scars, wears a mask) saves a kid's life and the kid and his friends scream and call him a monster. A couple of "adults" want to capture the "monster". CJ gets hurt and he rescues her, yet Cody wants to go rescue her because he thinks the "monster" is going to kill her. I'm surprised this show lasted so long with ridiculous story lines like that. I haven't finished the episode yet but I think he was burned.

A grandchild was watching with me and I took the opportunity to point out the guy has scars and isn't good looking, but that doesn't make someone a monster or someone to be feared!

I get into the shows I'm watching.

I remember watching this episode before and about a month ago I watched it again. I thought the episode was rather ridiculous in the story. It turns out the masked guy was a lonely burn victim who felt something for CJ because she reminded him of his late wife. I remember thinking that the guy was going to be some handsome guy who was just badly scarred and I was right. Not to mention that there could have been a better job done with the makeup. Even the deformities in The Fly and Darkman were done way better than that. The guy who played Aiden, however, is a good actor. It said somewhere that he is mostly a stage actor. I guess he needed some extra money when he did this episode.

All I need is one mic...
