The sad tale of the Lumberjack and the Surveyor

Once upon a time, a lumberjack and a surveyor were clearing a wooded area to make way for a community center.

The lumberjack said to the surveyor, "I hope I can ask you something..." The surveyor stood tall, put his hand on his heart and said, "Aks me."

The lumberjack axed the surveyor full swing.

Though only scarred, the surveyor pressed charges and sued the lumberjack. The lumberjack won both the civil and criminal cases, but only after 2 appeals.

It cost the lumberjack $80,000 in legal fees to be exonerated.
