I assume this was a bad show

On IMDB there was zero posts in 2011 and one post in 2012 (with no replies).

And this is the 1st post of 2013 and I've never seen the show.

I deduce, therefore, that it was pretty crap.

As a kid I watched almost every network television sitcom from the mid 80's to the mid 90's.

This show wasn't any worse than most others. It was ok but for whatever reason even though Jamie Lee Curtis or even Richard Lewis haven't been forgotten about, this show has. I literally just remembered it after what, 20 years, and looked it up on IMDb because I couldn't even remember what it was called. Something About Love?

I couldn't stand this show. I would give it a try from time to time. It wasn't offensive, just irritating.

From a user's review:

Also note that the show underwent a re- structuring after episode 6 in which most of the cast got fired. The magazine gets a new boss, Jamie's character gets a new apartment and a new best friend, while her Dad, played by Bruce Kirby, is rarely if ever seen again. The changes worked fairly well, but when watched on a DVD it's a bit jarring, with the second side of the disk looking almost like a new show.

I disagree about the changes. I thought is was a great show but after the changes I could not stand it.

I remember this show and it was pretty so/so I was a kid and I just remember it being irritating and people only saying how annoying the show is between the main characters relationship. You can also tell the show wasnt very good due to how many episodes the network ordered s03-04 was only 9-11 after s02 had the usual sitcom amount in the 20's
