Do you feel that there are strong connections between this film and Arronofsky's Black Swan?
Not same story but same concepts with schizophrenic ghost theme and weird love touching!
May be writers of Black Swan watched this film and inspired...who knows!!!
Well, I've always felt Arronofsky is a gifted hack to put it lightly. I thought this movie was pretty decent.. maybe not the most exciting film, but competent. Regardless, even while watching it I could see how Arronofsky took elements from this and PERFECT BLUE to "craft" his own film.
shareI concur. It's like he watched because he has worked with Jennifer Connelly, and then conceived the Black Swan idea soon after. I read somewhere he wanted to do the film with Jennifer and rachel Weisz back in 2003. Is that true? Anyway, yeah, I like the film. Really slow though, and yes, Aronofsky is a Hack.
