If you're unaware there are at least 4 other films released as "ZOMBIE 3". This is considered the official sequel to Lucio Fulci's ZOMBI 2 as it was started (but not finished) by Fulci himself. However, just to show what a tangled mess this series can be, In Germany this was released as ZOMBIE III.

What's odd about that? In Germany, ZOMBIE is DAWN OF THE DEAD, while
ZOMBIE II is DAY OF THE DEAD! Meanwhile, Fulci's "original" ZOMBI 2 is called WOODOO in Germany.

So yes, even the official ZOMBI 3 is yet another unofficial ZOMBIE 3 due to its German release masquerading as a follow-up to Romero's LIVING DEAD series rather than being attached to its actual predecessor. Which is good, because four fake ZOMBIE 3s weren't enough. 😵
