Same request as sammy enchanted really, but i'm in England. Is this available on DVD and as a Lynch fan is it worth aquiring?

Well, it is not a very Lynch-ian film but it is still quite good. Lynch is not the best actor in it but he is not bad either. I hope it comes on on DVD soon.
