even though he's actually a Filipino. He managed to pull it off though. He did look really native in this movie.

Lou is not a hundred percent Filipino and he does have Native American blood. Here's a quote about his parentage from Wikipedia:

He was a Native American and Mexican in the movie. All rather confusing.
