What if this movie was made today, shot for shot and line for line?
What cartoon characters do you think would be included and what characters would be taken out?
shareThey'd still have the classics. Bugs, Daffy, Donald, Mickey - you gotta have Warner Brothers and Disney. These days, though, they'd want to get some Pixar and Dreamworks characters into the mix, and maybe they'd go for some TV "actors" as well (Homer Simpson or Hank Hill or Pinky and the Brain); they could get some good jokes with "TV toons" stuff.
Of course, if you changed characters and cameos, you couldn't go shot-for-shot and line-for-line. They'd also probably use a lot of CGI. Maybe that's okay, maybe it'd take away from the charm.
