Dolores

Did anyone else think Dolores (Valiant's girlfriend) seemed really authentic? I mean she talked, walked and looked like an actual star of the 40s! I was so impressed! I grew up on classic hollywood movies and usually films set in the 40s and 50s that were not made in those times... the actors just look so out of place. I love this movie, the acting is superb and the sets and costumes are fantastic.

When you watch her in this film, you really feel like you're watching an actress in a real 1940s film (specifically a film noir). So I agree, she gave a great performance.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

I'm not sure she was his girlfriend.Didn't she work for his PI agency before Teddy's death as their secretary/receptionist?

After Teddy's death Eddie's life & agency went badly downhill so he couldn't afford to keep her on the payroll-he was always struggling with bills & having to pawn the camera!

That was my take on their relationship.

Eddie and Dolores were dating.

She is furious when she catches him with Jessica. Then he insists that a painted hussy won't turn his head, then tells her to buy a new swimsuit because they're going on vacation.

Then in the theater, he tells her she should find herself a good man. She says she already has one, and they were going to kiss before they saw Roger watching them.

Eddie was lucky to have her for a love interest.

Black Sabbath + Judas Priest + Iron Maiden + Metallica + Pantera + My Little Pony = LIFE

I'm sure she was great at "shaking the weasels..."

Sure. She was a very fleshed out love interest for Eddie.
