New adaptation ideas? Cast and director?

this book is in my top five of all time. They need to make this into a new real movie. Im thinking a director like Ivan Reitman, Gore Verbinski or Len Wiseman.

For Travis id say Luke Wilson, Jake Gyllenhal. Those guys can can play dark disturbed men.

For Nora id say Judy Greer. to me Judy is not drop dead georgeous like Nora, but is beautiful in her own right and would catch the eye of Travis.
