Why did they have to make a boy find the dog. In the book it was a fully grown man. That was just plain avoidable!

P.S:I have not seen the movie and am only 73 pages into the book so don't spoil the book for me when you reply

Hmm, I guess you don't have to worry -- not enough people apparently liked or watched the movie!

Well, I'm watching it on the Mystery channel now (for the first time), so I'll post a reply if it's worth it...

You know something, it's crime enough to have virtually nothing to do with the book. It's worse to take it a step further and make it a sh*tty movie.
