'have you ever seen such an available...

...mouth?"

"Yeah, like to set up camp in there for a while."

How the hell did a line like that end up in a PG rated film??? Not complaining about the placement of the line, but daaaaaaaaaaaang!!

"If I had ya where I wanted ya, they'd be pumpin your ass full of formaldehyde!"

Yeah it seemed a bit odd, but maybe a kid at PG level age might not fully understand the whole comment. I think there was an ass comment somewhere also.

The PG-13 rating was still new at the time and was probably only being used in extreme circumstances. PG could get away with a lot of suggestive humor but it was the gore in Poltergeist, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Gremlins that caused the MPAA to make a new rating for movies that were a bit too much for PG but not enough to be considered R.

This was one of my favourite films as a kid - I rewatched it a couple days ago, and was stunned by that line- how rude?!

But then I thought back to when I watched it as a girl, and realised I only thought he meant kissing- so no biggie really! :)

I forgot which scene that was.

They do seem to slip these lines into a PG film somewhere. And sometimes a visual joke for the adults. I suppose such things will just slide on past most under 12s. I've just rated this 6/10.
