One liners?

Which were your favourites?

Whilst I think it's true Cyndi was the best part of the film, I think most of the really funny one liners were from Jeff and Peter. (And occasionally, Googy)

Haven't watched it for a long time (I've probably overwatched my VHS tape.) so the few I remember off the top of my head are:

Nick: "In High School I was Captain of the machine gun team!"

Harry: "Florence Nightmare won't let us in."

Or the short discussion between Nick and Ingo:

"De count of tree; and dere all over de mountain."
"They being?"
"Yo' nats."
"Just to clarify."

"You had a bunch of SEX!!"

"That's right...banana-head"

"There were NICE gangs...Our Gang- Alfalfa, Spanky..."

"Your father is an NHL goalie...who scored two goals that night...and an ASSIST?!"

"Someone has had sex on this table..."

sylvia: i've heard that before... then they never call

rofl, for the life of me I can't see how this movie was not better received and how cyndi lauper did not become a movie star. she was absolutely adorable in this and her comic timing was excellent. her chemistry with jeff was great, peter falk was a riot and the writing was top notch. the end was a perfect setup for a sequel. as a matter of fact it's not too late. jeff and cyndi are not too old and I for one would love to see these characters again. stranger things have happened...
