That's a tough one. Wally.

"Don't be sorry...just be Wally." LOL

Watch "The Brady Girls Get Married" and you will find your answer. He's hilarious and charming in that!

Abby: "Olivia, something terrible has happened."

Olivia: "What, did you run out of eye makeup?"

reply

Tough Question---Wally was always whinning about losing his job but Phillip was kind of an ass because he was always in his "intellectual" world and very pretentous....ehh...I guess Phillip.

reply

Does anyone remember the series, "The Brady Brides?" There was a whole episode devoted to Wally's habit of walking around the house in the nude. Definitely Wally.

We'll see whose the filthiest person alive! We'll just see!

reply

I remember that one---but hold it!! I'll have to back track the episode!

What disappointed me in that series was that the character of Jan who used to dress fashionably (of that time) was now dressed as a frump---just because she was dating tight assed Phillip? I thought she was an artistic child when growing up (remember the episode when she was in anguish because she felt she had no talent?) And she was an archetect? Just didn't make sense.

And in "The Brady's" Peter became a real pervert...sheesh!

reply

I don't see how either of the sisters married the men they did marry. And you are right about Jan. What made her turn so frumpy and conservative?

reply

I agree with you totally. I didn't get why they would choose these men and both girls are so totally different than how they were as teens. I know you grow and mature but you don't lose your characteristics and they both have.

reply

Wally is definitely grosser (by definition of the word). Phillip is just arrogant and full of himself.

reply

Remember Harvey Klinger, the bug kid? What a dork! And Marcia was really into him when she was younger. You fall in love, can't control that. And, when they met, Marcia knew he wasn't her type but went out with him to give him a chance, probably to get him off her back!

reply

Phil was a dud, but at least he had class. Wally was just a tool. I love the magic of TV when loser guys can get really hot chicks.

reply

Oh God, Wally in a heartbeat. So pathetic and unfunny and just YUCK. At least Philip isn't pathetic, just tight-*****. It can be fun getting someone like that to loosen up ;)

reply

I agree. Wally. Totally. Absolutely. And the grossest thing about him was when they are standing at the door before they go to visit her parents. His shirt is unbutton so as to show his chest hair! I don't have a problem with chest hair, but what are men thinking when they try to show it off?

reply

Wally. By a mile. Phillip was nerd cute. Wally was a pain and ugly and had an annoying voice.

reply

Gross: Wally
Grating and annoying: Phillip

reply

Marcia never would have given Wally the time of day back in the '70s.

During the original series Jan was gorgeous but couldn't even get a date. Then she turned into a nerd. Phillip was perfect for her.
