Hollywood really 'missed the boat' on Jason Williams...

After seeing this movie "Vampire at Midnight" I realized what a great "Travis McGee" Jason Williams would have been...he seems exactly like John D. MacDonald described the character in his popular McGee novels. Neither Rod Taylor, nor Sam Elliott who played the character were right for the part. Williams as seen here would have been perfect.
