Guilty pleasure

This movie is kind of ridiculous like a romance/sex novel put on film, but something about it works. The rating is low because people don't get it. It's not trying to be anything other than trashy fantasy entertainment. And the sex scenes are spot on.

It has all the right elements to make it work and has plenty of style and atmosphere. The editing and cinematography are excellent. A decent 'cousin', to go along with Adrian Lyne's, provocative and sensual NINE & HALF WEEKS-86', both Zalman King productions.
