If you notice, Arnold was still fairly big and Muscular. But by his next movie(Total recall) he had lost at least 20 lbs. He had just turned 40, and obviously he quit steroids. Maybe for health reasons. But he has never been that big again. Look at Terminator2 with his shirt off, compared to just 3 years earlier in Twins. That's why twins will always be a good movie to me. The last of the (Big) Arnold.

shareJust watching this again, I did notice that in his 'topless' scenes, he spoke like he just worked out - out of breath etc. He probably wanted to get that 'ripped' look when he's on camera. I'll have to check whether that was the same in his later films
