Anyone ever thought...?

I love this movie and I am not trying to 'pick it apart.' I was watching it earlier today and got to thinking about something. The part where Julius has just gotten off the plane and is beginning his search from Vincent, he is trying all these new foods (hot dog, taco, etc.). Considering his health level on that tropical island eating all those fruits and veggies, his body had to seriously reject that stuff.
