Why no DVD release?

My copy arrived yesterday, now there is a commentary by Harvey and a few computer extras.
What exactly are the computer extras, cos I tried mine and it was just basically a link to the official site or something.
I loved the commentary. And the movie. Obviously :-)

Torch Song is yet to be released in Australia( well I havent found it here)

Not sure, but if you get desperate, I guess you can always find someone who can make a copy and if you feel guilty about ripping off the indistry, you could donate some money to a cause. :-D

Torch Song should still be available on Region 2. It's a terrific movie

I had been looking for the dVD version of this for ages, and NOW I have found it in a Dutch (Netherlands) 4 movies pack of MODERN GAY MOVIES, containing Querelle, Torch Song, Bad Education & Wilde (?).
Dutch /French subtitles only !
I have been looking for this movie in either VHS or DVD form for years. I ahd it on Beta and watched it to death. Unfortunately my DVD only plays R4(yet another skip) so I am pulling my hair out waiting for it to be released in Australia, why do they skip the release of good movies in Au, I can't fin almodova's Tie me up Tie me down either. why do we miss all the good movies?
