Gotta love it! I know I do! I was born in 1986, but I really was a child of the 80's.
Tommy Tricker And The Stamp Traveller was a classic, I loved it and the song, it's catchy.
I was not partial to the sequel, though.
I have some of the DVDs of the 80's.

this movie was so much fun.. it came out when as a kid i was really hooked to stamps, and i just loved watching this film and its sequel,. though it bugged me that in the sequel the villain became the hero,..
in india it aired on STAR Movies .. at the time it was a new channel and it showed a lot of these movies for kids.. i also remember watching the dog who stopped the war, the peanut butter solution.. man ,real good times.

shareI've searched high and low for an mp3 of this song and the best I could find was a rip of it from the movie. Sorry to say but I don't think a clean version of it exists :/ Maybe when the DVD comes out (is it coming out?) someone can rip a better quality of it cuz the one floating around right now is baaaaad quality ^^;;

does anybody remember a movie from the 80’s, where a kid lived in a warehouse, and he use to collect rubbish , and builded in to really cool thins, that would come to life.
And there was a really mean old lady who use to chase him off, and she had magic boots, and one day he stole them from her.
Also Frog dreaming was awesome.
i got the L.P soundtrack its got some cool songs, i think the song you are talking about is sung by a kid.

Tommy Tricker is an excellent kids' movie; and the kids are actually polite to each other and adults. What a concept. Poster mentioned Goonies; that is the only movie I can show kids once a week forever and they never get tired of it.
