What happened to the detectives, and the judge?

Surely there were consequences for their gross miscarriage of justice?

I hope so. This was one of the most publicly overturned cases ever. A documentary filmmaker comes out of nowhere and makes them and their culture down there look shocking and foolish, by doing actual detective work. I hope there were firings and people getting sued.

Yeah, quite the opposite. The DA went on to be a very successful defense attorney, and even claimed in an interview with the Dallas Observer that Adams wouldn't have been convicted if he had been his attorney.

I don't know how the three cops sleep at night. The one with grey hair, the one with black hair and the one with black hair and glasses seemed to be lying through their teeth and more than happy to fit anyone they could up.
