How would you describe the editing of the film?

If there's any film to talk about in terms of editing, this has to be the ultimate.

felt to long to me. i did like the movie, but the fight between the metal fetishist and the man just was too long

The editing was horrific. music tracks would just end abruptly (don't say this was for effect, it was clearly because the director simply could not be bothered matching up the soundtrack properly. Scene changes were bizarrely paced, the cuts between shots were often nonsensical and redundant.

Hell, the whole thing is just a *beep* mistakenly heralded as a work of genius by some very pretentious individuals.

They called me Mr. Glass :'(

Says the guy who has a quote from Unbreakable as his signature. Just because you don't like something, or disagree with the way something is made, doesn't automatically make it pretentious. In fact, i'd say it's pretty pretentious to make judgements like that.

i like the editing, i think it's jarring and sharp. its good to see that the 'oddness' of the film isn't limited to just the story, sound and aesthetic. i doubt that without the immediacy of the editing the film would work as well as it does

I thought the movie was pretty great too but I'll second you that the fight between the man and the metal fetishist was way too long. At one point I legit zoned out for like a minute when all that weird wire s**t was happening.

Only one word to describe it - rapid.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for enough good men to do nothing.

Schizophrenic, frenzied, eclectic and frantic.
