Christopher Reeve

Even though hardly anybody saw this movie, it will always hold a place in my heart as what I believe was the last movie Christopher Reeve made while he still had the use of both of his legs. Reeve was utterling charming in this movie, taking on the thankless Ralph Bellamy role and making it much more interesting than Bellamy did.

He made several movies before the accident.

Including a remake of "Village of the Damned", a movie with Geena Davis and Michael Keeton called "Speachless" and an HBO movie about a former cop turned parapalegic. (Forgot what it was called though.)

Peter Pan flew with children Lois,... a Fairytail.

Above Suspicion was the cop movie. And it was pretty good!!

On a side note, the movie also co-stars fellow Superman actor George Newburn. I wonder if the two ever hung out off set. Would be interesting if they were friends after the movie.

you forgot that fellow Superman star Ned Beatty is also in this!

Ironically, the last movie he made with the use of his legs he played a guy who faked becoming crippled and being confined to a wheelchair.

Chrsitopher Reeve wasn't paralysed from the shoulders down until May 1995, seven years after Switching Channels.

Chris made other movies after this before his accident but he expressed regret for making this movie, saying that he thought he "Made kind of a fool of himself" with the character. He also supposedly had to act as a referee with Turner and Reynolds because they hated eachother and weren't getting along on the set.
