bridge scene - trenton makes the world take...

Great movie. Can anyone tell me the entire phrase spelled out across the side of that bridge, when Mark Harmon is on the bus going home, near the start of the movie?

All I got to see was, "Trenton makes the world take." Take what? I'm wondering if the last word(s) got cut off, due to the dvd being full-screen format?

It says, "Trenton makes the world takes".

The slogan was adopted by the Trenton Chamber of Commerce in 1910 to represent Trenton's (then) leading position in the manufacturing of a multitude of goods, most notably steel, rubber, wire rope, linoleum and ceramics.

The slogan is outdated.

Trenton still does make high-quality laws and regulations -- enough to supply the entire state.

My VHS copy of the movie always cut off the s at the end so it looked like it read Trenton Makes The World Take but once I got it on DVD in widescreen it appeared as Trenton Makes The World Takes. That makes more sense though they probably should have inserted a comma in there...
