I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! BRILLANT!!

There should be more posts !!!

Havent seen it in ages ... I taped it from the tv yearsss ago ... & the tape got warn out sortly there after!

I agree: epic love story here! More people should know of the film. Moreso, they should learn about Abelard & Heloise! They were way ahead of their time. Seriously!

I didn't actually know it was about Abelard & Heloise until I read this board... and then I decided to get it. I heard about their story a few months back and was intrigued. And here it is, in movie form, with Derek de Lint! :D

The actress playing Heloise looked too old, though. Wasn't Heloise pretty young when they first met? The actress was 28 at the time, it seems, and... well, she looks late 20s rather than early 20s.

Enjoyed the movie. It's a beautiful but tragic love story. I guess it's true: "you can't make this stuff up!" :)

If anyone knows where I could get a hold of "Evolution's Child" (1999), please msg me! :)

If you know where to look, you can still watch it for free on the internet. Just saying - not trying to do anyone out of money but us Phd students have to find creative and clever ways of *not* spending money at all possible times.
