Beatrice Winde rocks

I have no idea why I had a flashback this afternoon of Beatrice Winde (as Alma-May) telling Daniel Day Lewis that she wouldn't fix him a ham sandwich cause' the Guage mansion was a "meat free" zone.... but it still makes me laugh my ass off just remembering it.

She is so powerful onscreen, whether television or cinema, she always gives the work total bite. I would love to be able to see her onstage, sometime.

I've got to go through all my video tapes I made in the 80's and find my copy of "Stars and Bars." Great movie, completely worthy of a "born again" experience on DVD.
