I can't believe all the great reviews this got, 100% on Rotten tomatoes? WTF? What crack were they smoking? This movie reminds me of that Steven Spielberg movie Duel where the guy is a such a wuss bag he lets the psycho do whatever he wants to him when any average guy in that situation would have went to absolute war.
shareIndeed. So this movie makes you *think* why any person like Rex would do the things he does - doesn't it? That's why the original is a great film. And it is why you should believe all the great reviews this movie got.
Besides, I like Spielberg's 'Duel' too. It is better, and more suspenseful, than some of his later movies.
The problem is that you want the movie's protagonist to act in the way he *should* have acted. But people don't. These movies show you what happens if you don't, like most people don't.
