1) He had most likely struck up a conversation while waiting for Saskia's return from the gas bar. They leave, he waves good bye. Nothing implied here other than him being generally friendly.
2) Rex isn't out for revenge, he doesn't hate Raymond. Only one thing on his mind, Saskia's mystery.
3) Rex had nothing on Raymond, NOTHING. His word against Ray's, who could deny everything. Recall Raymond saying he had prepared for such an instance? Seeing him plan his abductions was also a sign that he went above and beyond in his planning stage.
This is an intelligent man. He wouldn't approach Rex if he knew there was a chance of getting caught.

Your answer supports the OP's claim.
A straight man would've hated Raymond and wanted to kill him.
He also simply would've tortured Raymond to find out what happened.
He was apparently hoping to be molested.

I don't see how. I still view him as a man with only one thing on his mind. Just because you'd be up for revenge 100% doesn't mean he would. He doesn't even know the totality of what's occurred yet.
There's nothing supporting this post's claim. It's an addition made by a viewer that serves absolutely no purpose.
