I totally had a teen crush on this woman after seeing this series.

I have this show on videotape somewhere still, complete with the hand-drawn logo on the label. I should rip it. I was 16 and very impressionable when I saw it. The marketing/promos for it were indeed excellent, totally created the right atmosphere, and might be why the miniseries did so well but not the series itself. My friends asked to borrow it at the time.

This and Knight Rider are my two biggest 80's TV memories. They probably both would look cheesy as hell now, but at the time they were very atmospheric.

I am happy that I was not the only one who saw this superb movie and had a crush on that pretty Alien lady :) I also agree with your comments... Can anyone help me acquire some kind of copies of this movie and show?

o yeah i had a huge crush on her too and her sister hat played the princess on conan the destroyer they are so ,,well were so freaking ho they are into late 40s now,,but id do it for braggin rights..lol

Better late than never, I guess... it wasn't Maryam's sister who played in "Conan the Destroyer"... it was her second cousin, Olivia D'abo, who is not in her late 40s but her late 30s (39, to be exact... she'll be 40 in January)... Maryam, on the other hand, is in her late 40s (she'll 48 in December).

...Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he doesn't become a monster...

I think i have PAL tape copies but beware it's German synchronized

By the way I didn't feel this movies beeing trash.
Armageddon for instance whas much more expensive und more colorfull but the story and how it was told is at least 2 - 3 grades lower than this two little nice movies with an absolutely stunning girl
Armageddon is my example for a total trash film, the first one where I ever had the urge to leave the cinema NOW, way before it was done and I was absolutely upset afterwards).
I especially like the sequence where she gets drunken from the coffee.
This needs certain acting skills which even some nowaday heros of the cinema will never be able to adapt.
At least these two movies are fun.. to me

She was in this movie probably because of Xtro (1983). Try that one out, it's also a cheesy, but very original Alien rip-off. The most original of them all.
