Scream Factory is releasing this and Unhappy Campers soon on Blu-Ray. This film had a lot of cut footage like more blood and gore. The footage was released but it's in lower quality. Do you think they will try to find the footage somewhere in the vault, clean it up, and insert it back into the movie? The extra gore footage is awesome so I hope they do that.

We have sub-licensed this film from MGM. We do not own it and may not be able to legally alter the film to include lost uncut scenes. We will know for sure in the next couple of months.

It's not Uncut. Far from it. The jump cuts seem even more jarring than the R1 DVD. And I'd avoid the workprint; it's totally raw with no sound effects, soundtrack or sound editing of pretty much any kind. It's a 27 yr old fullscreen VHS print that's pretty rough and you can literally hear the crew and the director talking. "Walk a little slower."
I'd rather just watch the cleaned up Theatrical Cut and then the 19 mins of deleted scenes, which includes all of the edited out gore footage, plus other scenes.

shareIt was cool that the workprint was added to the blu ray. It would have been incredible if that workprint was in the same quality as the completed film was. I'm glad its on the disc, just wish that Scream Factory could have worked some magic and got a copy that was in better shape than VHS. Still, atleast they added it and if we want to reference where specific cuts were made we can do that. Flagpole murder= awesome.
