time question?

She died in March 1984.I thought she had killed herself two days before going to LA to shoot another film but Shauna's imdb page it says she had done 4 pornos in '84.I thought she hadn't done any work because she was living with that Mel(I don't know his real name)guy.Are these Archive scenes or did they just change the story around for this film?
