Bill Murray fought with the directors for Scrooged and Groundhog Day

Scrooged director Richard Donner said Bill Murray was "as difficult as any actor".
Groundhog Day director Harold Ramis said Bill Murray became increasingly difficult during filming of Groundhog Day, rarely on time. Ramis ended up throwing Murray against a wall and they didn't talk again until Ramis was very sick..and then only once and it was all over.
