I know movies like Caddyshack and Ground Hog's Day Bill Murray has worked with his brother before. This is the only movie where all three of them were together.

I'm surprised the one actually playing his brother in this movie hasn't done more.

I have been a fan of this movie since it came out when I was 12 but actually didn't find out they were brothers until a few years ago.

This is the only movie where all three of them were together.

Four total including Bill Murray himself. One brother plays Frank's dad (in the 1955 Christmas scene), one brother plays Frank's brother James, and one brother plays one of James' party guests. I never knew this until recently either; didn't even realize he had three brothers!



He has five sister's too. One is a Dominican nun.

There is one other brother.

He's the one who runs Caddyshack Grill and is the head chef I believe.

Bill's brother John, who plays his brother in this, didn't do that much else.

His brother Joel (another guest at Frank's brother's Christmas Eve party) played Freddy Rumsen in Mad Men, as well as Pete in 'Dharma & Greg' ('Good talkin' to ya, Pete), and a few 80's comedies such as 'One Crazy Summer'.

Bill's brother Brian Doyle Murray has a small role as Frank's father.
