Kind of bugs me. Cause when they meet again there is zero awkwardness or drama that would result from to people who were love to be separate that long. The whole movie plays out has if they did stay in touched, which isn't the case

I've reconnected with childhood friends on Facebook and a few of us started right off like we never parted ways. Well, after the what do you do now, how long you been married and number of kids. It's funny how that is with some of them and others it isn't.

Its a little off, but there were more unbelievable things in this film than just that.
Still works in spite of its flaws though.

It is a little 'off' as you said, but because of Karen Allen's sincere performance and sweet demeanor, it worked. Anyone else and I don't think the chemistry would have been near as good.

I get the argument. But I can honestly say that there are just some people I've known in my life who I can go without seeing for years and when I finally do, it's like I saw them yesterday. That intangible chemistry that just exists between two people.
