When I watched this movie, I got the feeling that the Fraternity Gamma Phi Gamma's were meant to represeent the real-life Frat Omega Si Phi's.
This seems to be reinforced by the fact that in the film, the Gamma's are referred to as the " Dogs ". And the nick-name for the Omega Si Phi's are the " Q Dogs ".

shareNo, "G-Phi-G" is a fictionalized version of Alpha Phi Alpha (ΑΦΑ), it's also where the chants "ice ice baby" comes from during the step show. On a side note, the best college frat will always by the nupes! Kappa Alpha Psi (ΚΑΨ).
