Hated it

No clue why it has a decent score of 5.7 (for a horror film). I'm curious what people actually see in this film? Aside from its decent production values and score. There wasn't one scare to be found here, nor was there any character development or likeable characters. You could say the "lead" was nice, but she didn't do anything, hardly said anything, and was a terrible actress. Finally the film didn't seem to have a beginning, middle, and end. It seemed to jump right in the middle of the story, and never got off the ground running. I really thought for the most part it was freaking dull. Then it just ends.
Didn't like it whatsoever.

I disagree, I thought she was a good enough actress and the film kept my attention for the duration of the running time, I never found it dull for a second. Though I will say when it comes to Scarecrow films I prefer the Scarecrow trilogy.

I knew you'd disagree .

I disagree as well, I seen this film about two years ago so maybe I don't remember it to well but I think it is quite an underrated horror film. The budget was estimated around 425,000 and when you watch the final film, It is very impressive considering films made now for lets say 500,000 are nothing but horrible CGI spectacles on SyFy. I found the movie had great atmosphere and I can see why someone would find it dull but personally I thought it was building up suspense. If I remember right there were a couple of creepy scenes thanks to the wonderful score. I have to re-watch it to see if I still really like it.

I agree with you. This movie was incredibly dragged-on, uscary, and dumb.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

I loved it

I couldn't give a damn about likeable characters, besides bank robbers are assumed to be unpleasant people so rather than lining up a bunch of teens for a slaughter house I thought Wesley's approach was, dare I say it, original.

It's all a deep end.

Ah, no. I'd say people who like horror movies such as 'Scream', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and any of the inferior horror remakes(Halloween, TCM, F13, Elm Street) would more likely be Cyrus and Bieber fans. But this film not so much. And 'Scarecrows' is way more imaginative on a very low-budget than the high-budget drivel of 'Scream' or 'IKWYDLS'.

"Life IS pain highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something".

reply

Acting exactly like a moron who would like a crap movie like this.

reply

How on earth is Scarecrows imaginative? To even invoke Scream in the comparison is hilarious. Scarecrows isn't even half as good as the worst Scream movie.

Aside from its decent production values and score.

????? The production values were shoe string and the score is completely unremarkable. I watched this last night and can't even remember the music it was so bland.
