Why the F did Justine have a guitar onstage?? That she occasionally strums once or twice during songs. And her voice! I can't
sharePretty much. Justine was cast in this because of her Tiger Beat popularity and because her Family Ties fame was at its peak.
The film was a critical and box office flop. Whoever had the bright idea of casting Justine Batemen in the lead is probably selling insurance in Alabama these days. She couldn't play any instruments and her voice was like nails on a chalkboard. Awkward.
The only reason this is still on cable is because of a chubby, flat chested Julia Roberts.
