Omg i love him so much. As an actor. He was so GREAT he was totally sexy AND a good actor he was a 2 in 1 package. I think he really brought a lot of passion to his roles. Stand by Me was FANTASTIC. I think he's the sexiest man ever but everyone else thinks he's ugly. I wonder whats wrong with them sometimes.

shareYes, I am definately a River Phoenix fan!!! I love him and his movies ~ they are so great! Stand By Me and Dogfight are my favorites. You should watch them both if you haven't already :) Great actor, and one that will be missed for years and years to come.

Yup, River definitely reunites all the qualities a man could long for...sighs...! His movies are so great, I watched them repeatedly with my friends and I could never get tired of it:)! ROE, SMB, Dogfight, MOPI, MC, TTCL, ILYTD and the others are all fantastic... And what's with that "everybody else finds him ugly?" thing? You're joking, right? coz it kinda blew me off!I mean, it may be hard for some to past beyond his amazing looks and look into his depth, but the other way around?? All of the people I know- River fan or not, knowing him or just seeing a pic of him- said he was gorgeous. It's not a matter of taste, it's an evidence:)! I for one can't think of a more fascinating attractive human being!
River Phoenix is awesome and he will be forever loved and remembered, because true talent and soul never fade away!

gosh i know...idk whats wrong w/ them...my friend said he looked like a girl um NO. he was a really awesome actor most young actors when they get older lose the cute and cant make it as a serious actor but he really was amazing

And yes, I am a River fan. Ive admired him since the first time I read one of his biographies. His looks first cached my eye. But looks only on a person eventually fade away my interest. But the soul, passion and talent of one being, never. I can honestly say, just as gorgeous as he was on the outside, he was twice as much on the inside.

There's a lot of people who have found River ugly? Hmm. That's weird. He was kind of known (and I guess still is) as a great actor with phenominal looks as well. He's regarded as good looking by a lot of people. At least I think he was good looking :)

I love River too. Been a fan since I was 11 or 12 and he was on a tv show. I watch his movies all the time. My 15yr old daughter is now a big fan too. I love your RIP list, ad Heath Ledger and its ditto for me too! Take care.

Love love love River. I am 37 and still remember my mom calling me to let me know that he had died. I was devastated. Very very talented actor. This is truly one of his very best movies. I cry every single time I watch it. After this movie I cried every time I heard "Fire and Rain" by James Taylor. I am pregnant with my first child and was going to name him River but my husband cousin had her baby first and beat me to it.
I also very much like Joaquin. He has taken on his brothers intense acting. Every role played by either one of them is believable.
