if you guys remember the scene where the old man was justifying and fooling the slaves with that nonsense about how god wanted them to be servants b/c he knew that was the best condition for them in this world! talking about it will offend god almighty. thats some bullcrap! that's exactly why i washed my hands with Christianity because its nothing but mental slavery for blacks smh.

I'm an atheist/agnostic (depending on the day) with no dog in the fight, but people have used their religion inappropriately to justify anything. In the absence of religion, the just justify it anyway.

I'm black and my family is mostly baptist, and they find great comfort in Christianity, something I sometimes wish I could find.

If you want to justify your hatred of Christianity, you can use slavery I suppose.. Would Jesus have approved of the North American slave industry? I doubt it.
