They RECYCLED part of the soundtrack from 'Commando'
when they're chasing Kate and the fake cab driver you can hear the same theme in "Commando",I'm talking about the scene when Ahnuld meets Cook at the motel

shareWell, of course, it is the same composer, after all. James "Titanic" Horner.

i noticed it too...the scene in the underground car park with is very similar to the commando soundtrack at the beginning where Matrix is carrying the chopped wood and stuff.
wasnt Cook from Commando one of the black bald gang in this too?

Nothing compares to Another 48 Hours where Walter Hill apparently thought it was OK to use for 99.9% the IDENTICAL tracks used in Commando. James Horner did the scores for both, or I should say he did the score for Commando and simply reused it for Another 48 Hours.
shareJohn Williams sort of recycles things too, or at times sound close enough.
I noticed it, too. Duh duh duh doo da duh dun, dun dun dun duh, dun dun dun dun, etc.
shareTry watching Wrath of Khan, Krull and Aliens back-to-back. Talk about recycling!
"Two tigers cannot live on the same mountain"
I think I remember hearing some of what sounded like the Commando soundtrack in Romancing the Stone aswell.
shareEveryone forgot 48 hours(and another 48 hours, I think). He uses that same clavichord(?) & horn segment over and over. He's so freaking lazy.
He does it with A Lot of his work, but tries to hide it better most of the time. He will change tempo/pitch/scale/etc slightly and pass it off in another film.
