- Only an idiot could think Rambo 3 is better than first blood.
- Rambo 3 did NOT create the iconic image that is John Rambo, First blood part 2 made him an icon and is the movie most people think of when people mention Rambo, if anything Rambo 3 ended the franchise(why do you think there wasn't another movie for 20 years?).

- 'You talk like First Blood is some superior film when it clearly is not in any way shape or form'- Your name is patton98 so i assume you are 12/13? if so then i understand why you believe Rambo 3 is better, but when you are older you will realize why First Blood is am amazing piece of film making, especially the first hour. I love Rambo 2, 3 and 4 too but once again Rambo 3 is a movie where Rambo kills a ridiculous amount of people and says a one liner every minute, once again i shall say that i love that, but in terms of a brilliant movie First Blood is in another league, it's not even an action movie.
- First Blood created John Rambo, the only reason it's not the movie the general public think of when they hear Rambo is because the 3 sequels turned him into an action hero who did great at the box office, in first blood he was not a hero at all. But First Blood still created the character, a character who is trained to do anything and survive anywhere.
- You're criticizing Rambo 4 for not making Rambo an icon? It was the fourth movie in the franchise! and 20 years after the last sequel, the movie had the icon in the movie and ended his story perfectly. It's what Rocky Balboa was to the rocky franchise, and it's underrated(by critics, audiences loved it).
