Dustin Hoffman is pretty overrated in this

Classic Oscar bait performance. Cruise is actually the heart of the movie, it's his journey. He's the one you empathize with. Hoffman just has the flashier (Oscar bait) performance.

And maybe it's because he's done a few comedies in recent times, but there's moments where I see straight through his performance. I don't see an autistic person, I see Hoffman pretending to be an autistic person (a very exaggerated version of one anyway).
