Anyone thinks this movie is like Stephen King's Pet Sematary story?

I bet the writers read Stephen King's novel and got ideas! i mean a dad looses his son, a forbidden dark magic area with a wise old person who warns them, burying their kid in a dark place and unleashing a demon.

No, there were plenty of films like that before Pet Sematary was written as a novel. E.g. The Sentinel, etc.

To agree with the only other responder so far, no. Not even close.

Plus, it has Lance Henrikson. I enjoy it much more than Pet Sematary.
